Thank you family

I just want to say thank you to all my sisters who did not settle for 2nd best but set a goal and said Temple Marriage or nothing.

Here is what happened that I want to say Thank you.

So Heidi a girl that I work with who is a member of the church.. AND I want to say MEMBER... Really she feels she is living it to the law .. do you know what I mean.. is it the letter of the law or the law of the letter...

So she has told everyone in the store after dating this guy for a week that they are getting married. I am very happy for her she is "36" and well I am happy for her "REALLY" now here is what I cant believe. He is a member of the church as well but just not active. And she has always said to everyone that she is not getting married unless its a temple marriage.

so after I learned of her engagement today I want to say wow how wonderful the news was, and how excited I was for her to be getting married.

I then made the comment and this is where I should have kept my mouth shut but I was not mean or hateful and I said "I am so glad your going to have a temple marriage" OPPS this is where she came back at well he is not ready for the temple...

WOO horsie... I said what your not going to get married in the temple.. NO I am in love and we are getting married. I ask her WHY would you settle for less...

I did have to say "you need to practice what you preach" I know love will cloud you mind but really why settle for 2nd best. and not the BEST!

SO to my family, I am so glad that you did not settle for 2nd best and you made sure you had what it took to be married in the temple. I am so happy that I was able to be to most of your weddings and you married that person that was set before you to marry.

Thank you for your examples and who know someday you might be in the temple with me to be sealed....
