Many have hear and some may have not I have a NEW Great Nephew Nolan James Weaver. Well Nolan is 3 weeks old and has spent the last 2 days in the Hospital because of a Pyloric Stenosis.
Pyloric stenosis is the narrowing of part of the stomach (the pylorus) that leads into the small intestines. This narrowing occurs because the muscle around the pylorus has grown too large. Most babies with pyloric stenosis begin to vomit during the second to third week of life. Babies begin with "spitting up" that turns into forceful projectile vomiting. The vomiting occurs after feeding.
pyloric stenosis is fairly common - it affects about three out of 1,000 babies in the United States. Pyloric stenosis is about four times more likely to occur in firstborn male infants. It has also been shown to run in families - if a parent had pyloric stenosis, then an infant has up to a 20% risk of developing the condition. Pyloric stenosis occurs more commonly in Caucasian infants than in babies of other ethnic backgrounds, and affected infants are more likely to have blood type B or O.
In a nut shell he has been in the hospital and has had to have a IV placed in his head and well he has lost most of the weight he has gained since he as born.
I am not so much worried about Nolan because he is well cared for by Doctors and Nurses But I am concerned about his dear mommy and daddy.
Big Sister is with there Mimi and well. Its just concerns me of how much one little body can take.
This Sunday in church we set it a side to fast once a month and my Fast will be focused on Him and his little family.
Any one that wants to join me in the fast you may do so and again thank you all for all your prayers for there little family.
